bored at work: It is quite tough to type two of the same letter in a row by simply holding the key down. I often end up with 3 of the same letter. Sometimes I can do it though, try it if you are bored!

This is shockingly frustrating/entertaining.

another good bored game....6 degrees of Wikipedia. Think of 2 different Wikipedia subjects, then navigate from one to the other using only links within articles. Example: Albert Einstein to Porsche 911.
Albert Einstein > United States > Automobile > Automotive Industry > Porsche > Porsche 911

it's pretty much like that flappy bird game on Android. How many times can you do this in a row without screwing up? I'm at 2. Haha.

Well, that's interesting. Holding down the "a" key or the "e" key in the Kinja editor, and presumably other keys, allows you to choose various accented or non-English characters. No idea if this is a Mac/Forefox-specific feature.

That game frustrates me also, and I've only played it once.

Haha, that's a pretty cool challenge!
I'm going to try Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson to Ford Mustang.

hmm that wasn't too hard
Dwayne > Fast 5 > Ford GT40 > Ford Mustang

Interesting. I wonder if it's a Mac thing. What system/browser are you using?

You can adjust the repeat rate if you want to.

Try getting from Marilyn Monroe to flying squirrel

Win7/Chrome
I remember my keyboard in Europe would act much differently than a computer that's configured for US-English use. I think it is all up to what language your keyboard is setup for or perhaps it's a mac thing.

yeah, but that wouldn't be fun! I'm talking stock-windows settings yo!

I didn't delete it! Is my phone worth money now?

I think it might be a Mac thing. I can very easily enter characters like é è ü ç ß etc. by using the Option key. I've described this to Windows users who have said it's much more difficult on that system. I'm not certain, though, as I've never used Windows more than I absolutely have to.

damn that's a tough one!

I've done it!
Marylin Monroe > 20th Century Fox > Fox Cartoons > Eek! The cat > Squirrel > Pteromyini (which is also known as a flying squirrel)

if you set your keyboard, in windows, to a language that those keys are common in, there are very easy shortcuts to them.

ooh you did it on the l, the k, the e, the t and the h!!!
Your longest string is two though, so your score is 2.

I guess that's the trick. On the Mac keyboard, no changes are necessary.
